The Canadian dark comedy series called Rentagoalie was a hilarious opportunity to write music for a lovemaking scene. The intricate role of music in comedy where timing is everything is one of my favorite challenges as a composer. The other film clip is from a farcical play by and about the late Vaclav Havel played by F Murray Abraham that PBS Great Performances made into a film.
